Nicholas Chiekrie started producing League Manager software in 2004. This started as a simple favour to a friend (who played in a snooker league), and soon became rather more complex as he and others kept asking for it to do more and more.

Eventually it did everything except actually play the matches!

I was rather surprised that there was no software out there already that could do this task. All there seemed to be when I searched the web was an abundance of Excel spreadsheets and Access databases, neither of which provided a one stop solution to the problem of planning, managing and running a league. In addition these required that the organiser had Microsoft Office Proffesional.

Snooker League Manager is now successfully in use with the Farnham and District Snooker and Billiards League, making the job of those involved in planning, managing and running the league much easier.

Since the success of snooker League Manager I have tailored it to create Team Matches League manager which can be used for games like pool, darts, dominoes etc.

I am currently working on making Field Matches League Manager which will be suitable for games like Rugby, Football, Hockey, Basket Ball, etc.
